Mozambique Part One

As all devoted blog readers have previously heard I have went on and returned from a 10 day trip to Mozambique. (if you did not know then shame on you)

We left at 10:30pm Thursday night in order to to meet our contacts beyond the border at 8am Friday. The trip up was mostly uneventful as nearly everyone slept for the majority of the time and we had arranged to get our visas before the border crossing.

Final road before we hit the ocean

We arrived at the campsite a day before the campers and we were able to enjoy some fellowship, rest and playing in the ocean before the kids got there.

The campers arrived Saturday afternoon, after we helped them unload their luggage and kitchen supplies we had a quick cool off time in the ocean.

Directly following the ocean time we wasted no time as the kids were divided into their teams and then had them do some team building exercises.

During the week at camp the kids were taught about different characteristics of Christ by John Page and how to follow God on a daily basis.
